Flore is an academic by day and a pressed artist flower by night. She grows organic flowers in her garden and gathers while traveling. Flore grew up in Paris, France and began gardening only after she moved to Princeton. During the pandemic, she graduated from hobby to serious gardener and began to press flowers to preserve their beauty and diversity a bit longer.

The Flore Organic Botanics Coasters represents tiger stripes emerging from the Princeton woodlands. Selected flowers organically grown in Princeton, New Jersey are pressed on watercolor paper to produce these beautiful designs. The flowers used for this pattern are pansies, tulips, maple leaves, cherry leaves, marigold, ranunculus, and rose petals. Roses are the birth flower of June.

Lori Kaplan's travels to Europe as a young adult inspired her love of antique jewelry and classical sensibilities. Her work is generally delicate, feminine, and unobtrusive.

Kaplan was classically trained using ancient jewelry-making techniques dating from Byzantine times. Today, she incorporates these traditional techniques with more current techniques. Working primarily in 18K gold—often recycled by her—Kaplan frequently uses bezel settings with colorful gemstones as the focal point. She sometimes casts her ring bands and hand fabricates the focal stone bezel, which makes every piece one of a kind.
