Alka's passion for design is firmly rooted in her heritage. She was born in the Kashmir valley, Northern India, an area made historically famous for its cashmere wool and pashmina shawls.
Orvana’s handcrafted textiles are 100% pashmina, cotton, silk, and wool; this ensures our collections provide maximum comfort in every climate. Their expert team of Indian artisans hand weave, hand block print, and vegetable dye the one-of-a-kind patterns we’re proud to use in our products.
